We haven’t managed to sleep under this duvet ourselves yet but wanted to share some details with you based on the fantastic feedback we have received.  The Luxury White Goose Feather & Down duvet from Homescapes ticks many boxes. Maybe most importantly, it is a great value feather and down option.  Soft, warm and fluffy seem to be the most popular comments we have heard, which certainly sounds good to me during the cold British Winter.  It should be noted that although relatively lightweight, at 13.5 tog this is definitely a duvet for the Winter and would be far too warm for even our Summer months.  

It’s filling contains 85% luxury goose feather which is surprisingly quiet, no crackle as you turn over in bed and certainly no grey and mottled effect which is all too common with feather duvets.  It feels like it has a much larger down content than it actually does.  The good quality 100% cotton cover, is neatly stitched with a box construction that ensures even distribution and holds the filling in position, meaning no cool patches.  No spiky feathers poke through either! Perfect for allergy sufferers the cover has been made to ensure that dust mites cannot penetrate.    

This duvet is even washable at home (if you can fit it in your machine!) and in the warmer months, it can be conveniently stored in the zippable storage bag that it comes in.

This duvet seems to be perfect for all the family, it is good value for money and good quality with none of the negatives often associated with feather duvets.  I’m certainly sold on this one.
