If you are looking for a good quality, naturally hypoallergenic duvet for your child, this could be the one for you,  It is one of the best value wool duvets we have come across.  Cosy and warm, the temperature regulating properties of wool can offer you peace of mind that your child won’t overheat when they go to sleep.  The wool’s ability to absorb moisture should also mean that your child sweats less at night, leading to a more comfortable night.  The duvet is suitable all year round, keeping your child warm in the winter and cool in the summer months, so at £36 it is a worthwhile investment.

What you won’t get from a this duvet, like most wool duvets,is a soft fluffy feel.  The 100% cotton cover is quite soft and the duvet is lighter than I expected but more rigid and thin than a synthetic or feather and down duvet and certainly not fluffy.  For me, the pros far outweigh the cons here.  Wool is naturally dust-mite resistant so this is a good choice for children who suffer from allergies.  The duvet is machine washable (up to 40 degrees), which i think is a ‘must have’ for young children due to inevitable accidents.

I’d definitely recommend this duvet as a good first duvet, post sleeping bag.   With a 5 year guarantee offered, this one is made to last.
