Marks and Spencer have started offering a number of new duvets that are attractive, washable and don’t need a cover and their Teddy Fleece Duvet is one of these.  This is the perfect duvet for a sick day or duvet day on the sofa.  Soft and snuggly, you can put a cover over it but why bother?  It is an absolute favourite of my kids who love to cuddle up with this duvet to watch a movie but it is equally popular with our cat, Richie!  At 10.5 tog, it is cosy and warm and I think would be loved by most young children as it is comforting.  The single duvet is perfect for our purpose as it fits in the washing machine and can be tumbled dried.  Unless you have a big american style machine, the larger sizes may be tricky to machine wash though and so you’d need to either use a cover or visit a launderette to clean it.

This M&S duvet is made of 100% polyester and is reasonably priced at £29.50 for a single duvet especially given you may not need to buy a duvet cover for it.  It’s not premium quality but meets our needs as a spare duvet for duvet days and as it is cuddly is a great comforter for kids.
