It’s a New Year and we are all locked down, so it couldn’t be better time for a makeover! My 12 year old daughter has decided the first place to start, in our house, is her bedroom and she has discovered the popular ‘teddy fleece’.
Soft, cosy and warm, teddy fleece is a great material for snuggly down on these cold nights. But is it for everyone? Well, when it comes to bedding, we think this is probably a trend best for the tweens and teens, as like many synthetic materials it can make us older folk a bit hot and sweaty!! That said it is also perfect for lounging on the sofa when watching movies during these lockdown days or as a throw on the end of the bed.

Dunelm seems to lead the way with the largest range of teddy products from pillows to duvet covers, cushions to chairs and lovely soft teddy fleece bedding. Prices start from only £4 for a fluffy teddy cushion! The pink throw and pink cushion can be seen on my daughters bed pictured above.
The quality of the M&S ‘s teddy bedding stands out. Decent quality for polyester, with no shedding and I am hopeful it will wash well. My daughter has the grey duvet and pillow case set and loves it (see photo above)! It’s incredibly soft and smooth and comes in 8 different colours. Available online from £29.50. They also sell a highly rated Teddy Fleece Mattress Protector and a Teddy Fleece Pillow.
Fabulous, fluffy night-time accessories can be found at The White Company.. Great for winter gifts. My all time favourite is their faux fur water bottle (again in the photo above!), its so soft and luxurious. I have bought it for several friends and they all love it! Their fluffy slippers and eye mask look fab too.
As you would probably expect, Amazon has a huge range of teddy bedding. We haven’t tried any yet but there are various price points from £15 upwards, with the Catherine Lansfield range looking the most luxurious.
